Educating 80,000 youth in 5 countries

SOLS 24/7 unique education programs are being offered in 5 countries since 2000 in Cambodia, 2006 in East Timor, 2007 in Malaysia, 2010 in Laos and 2012 in Thailand.

Over the past 12 years SOLS 24/7 has trained over 80,000 youths.

The Challenge/Opportunity:

If young people from poor families do not receive a proper school education they are left with:

Timorese children

• Little of no guidance to get a good job and good character skills.
• They are not trained to face the challenges of the real world and working life.
• They take their parents support for granted.
• Many indulge in substance abuse, immoral activities and have an apathetic, ‘lepak’ attitude towards life.
• Many have low confidence and belief in themselves and their potential.
