USAID and SRA Int’l partner SOLS 24/7 for UNTL e-learning project.

DILI, June 1, 2009: Two e-learning centres and a cybercafé were successfully launched in Timor Leste’s national university (UNTL) in a project funded by USAID, with SOLS 24/7 awarded the vital role as implementing partner of American contractors, SRA International.

The new state-of-the-art centers offer technology training and a high-speed internet connection that will equip UNTL students with the skills needed to participate in today’s global and knowledge-based economy.

Youth Development Top Priority as SOLS 24/7 meets with PM Xanana Gusmao

TIMOR LESTE: Thousands of youth will soon be given the opportunity for a broader scope of education as Science of Life Systems 24/7 (SOLS 24/7) founders met with the country’s Prime Minister earlier this month.

M. Singh, Raj Ridvan Singh and Dhanveer Singh put forward a formal request and discussed the urgent need for land, with buildings, and special permission to install and use a VSAT (satellite internet access) with Democratic Republic of Timor Leste, Prime Minister H.E. Xanana Gusmao.

The land, with buildings, will be able to accommodate 700 to 1,000 full-time boarding students as well as reach out to 1,500 to 2,000 daily part-time students, …..
