History
SOLS 24/7 Cambodia, better known through our Local Partner GDI (Grassroots Development Institute), is an NGO providing a holistic education boarding program. It was established on January 10, 2000. SOLS 24/7 Cambodia started with 24 students from all over Cambodia. The students were mostly poor youth who did not have enough money to further their education.
SOLS 24/7 has a main teaching center and has 35 province centers. To date we have trained over 57,000 thousand students. Over the past 11 years, 120 of our most dynamic, responsible and hard-working volunteers have gone for the SOLS 24/7 International Exchange Program to Malaysia, Timor Leste and Laos.
SOLS 24/7 Cambodia is currently opening more centers all over the country in order to reach out to many poor youth in the rural areas.
