History

The SOLS 24/7 team arrived in Laos in January 2010. They began conducting research into official registration procedures and hope to have the necessary licenses to expand in early 2011.They have donor funding for the initial stages of the project and are receiving positive support from the Lao people.

SOLS 24/7 Laos has started with small pilot projects teaching English and public speaking for university students, office staff, children and youth volunteers.

Students are all staying in Vientiane but come from many different provinces of Laos.

Currently the Laos Team are discussing their application with the Ministries and are decorating and preparing their training centre for part time and full time students. They will be using the successful SOLS 24/7 programs and systems for teaching, and look forward to bringing in computers and further experienced teachers and trainers.
