Business Management interns

The intern will experience working in a managerial team side by side with SOLS 24/7 senior directors. He/she will have the opportunity to setup a new project, manage an existing project or be involved in managing a variety of projects, depending on the level of commitment and duration of the internship. Most projects are dealing with providing education to underprivileged youth and we are also running various social enterprises that generate income to serve the poor.

The focus of the internship will be on developing new projects and monitoring existing projects to ensure that all operations are running effectively. However, interns will undoubtedly touch on other areas of management, relevant to SOLS 24/7. This may include community work, proposal writing, designing brochures, leadership training, organizing and participating in fund raising events and attending meetings with partners.

Upon completing the internship the participant will understand to a great extent how a successful INGO operates in South-East Asia. They will also have developed a very comprehensive insight into local culture and management practices. The confidence and hard work ethic that will be taught to the intern is especially valuable to those hoping to pursue a career in management or setup a business or organization. The impact of taking on this internship is potentially to help thousands of underprivileged youth in South-East Asia to get a proper education and achieve their full potential.
