Job Overview

At SOLS 24/7, our mission is to serve, educate and empower the bottom 40% with free education, personal development and employment support. The educational programmes focus on these three skill areas: Hard Skills, Life Skills and Professional Skills.

Our projects might address one or more of these skill areas and, as a Project Manager in SOLS 24/7, you will play a key role in leading, managing, and implementing the programme delivery with our partners, team, and students.

Depending on the project timeline, you are required to plan and deliver the entire programme together with our teachers and team, starting from recruitment all the way to certification upon programme completion. You will work closely with the education team, but also the tech, communications, and other internal departments to ensure the project deliverables are successfully accomplished.

Continuous monitoring of the project progress is also of vital importance to ensure it is on track to meet its objectives while you are able to identify possible delays or risk factors and work with the team for intervention or mitigation.

What do I need?

  • A Degree in Administration, Marketing, Business, Commerce, Law or equivalent fields.
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in the usage of digital technology and tools for work.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Strong proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (oral and written);
  • Ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis;
  • Organisational, planning and multi-tasking skills;
  • Problem analysis and problem-solving skills;
  • Proactive attitude and taking initiative;
  • Professionalism and confidentiality;
  • Attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Flexibility;
  • Well organized with an understanding of priorities and changing demands;

  • Working knowledge and implementation of Google Suite and other relevant tools;

What will I do?

  • Plan and coordinate the programme logistics;
  • Manage the programme execution and delivery online and/or on-ground;
  • Coordinate the executing team;
  • Sync-up with relevant departments for project implementation;
  • Manage team workload and team morale and motivation;
  • Liaise and arrange for team training as needed;
  • Monitor the programme progress through data collection, data analysis and usage of various platforms and data sources;
  • Prepare programme reporting and updates to internal and external stakeholders;
  • Evaluate the programme performance at set intervals and identify key learnings for immediate and future enhancements;
  • Ensure the programme administration is maintained, updated, and stored correctly;
  • Execute any other tasks relevant to the department or as and when required by the reporting manager.
