What do I need?

To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or HR certification is a plus).
  • Proven experience in HR roles, including management or leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Leadership, team management, and organizational skills.

What will I do?

In this role you will:

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, and hiring decisions.
  • Collaborate with department managers to understand their staffing needs and ensure timely hiring.
  • Promote positive employee relations through effective communication, conflict resolution, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Address and resolve employee concerns and grievances in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
  • Develop and manage compensation and reward systems to attract and retain employees.
  • Conduct compensation analysis and make adjustments as needed to remain competitive in the job market.
  • Identify training and development needs within the organization.
  • Design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
  • Support career development and succession planning initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations, including EEO, FMLA, ADA, and OSHA.
  • Maintain and update employee handbooks and other HR documents.
  • Manage the performance appraisal process, working with managers to set performance goals and provide feedback.
  • Identify performance improvement opportunities and develop plans for employees.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
  • Handle HR administrative tasks, such as onboarding, offboarding, and personnel file management.
  • Oversee time and attendance tracking and payroll processes.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement programs to foster a positive work culture.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives within the organization.
